Great Goals - for Today and Every Day

         My "thought for the day" turned out to be a little more of a ramble than a post.  I'm obsessed with inspirational and self-help reading.  I just really enjoy things that make me feel better AND encourage me to live better, too. (I'm not sure about you, but Lord knows I'm a constant work in progress.)   

       So, while reading some of Og Mandino's work last night, I have this on my mind:  Monday - a great day to go for some big goals ~ Today I'll encourage the downhearted to help share hope; I'll constantly watch for reasons to applaud;  I won't scratch for excuses to gossip.  If I'm tempted to criticize I'll bite my tongue.  I'll work to show love to all kinds of
people for each has qualities to be admired, even though some may be hidden. With love and determination, I can do this.  (inspired by and paraphrased from Og Mandino 1923-1996)
